Is there a minimum account size to talk?
No. We've had meaningful first conversations with pre-seed founders managing $200K and growth-stage CFOs overseeing $30M. The conversation costs nothing. If your situation isn't a fit for our services, we'll say so directly — and suggest alternatives. We've referred people to other firms, to accountants, to self-directed platforms, whatever makes sense for their situation. We'd rather build a reputation for honesty than close a deal that doesn't serve you.
How quickly will you respond?
Within one business day. Usually much faster — often within a few hours during business hours. We're four people in Old Montréal, not a call center. Your inquiry goes directly to Marc-Antoine or Nadia — the same people who'll actually manage your account. There's no intake form that gets routed to a queue. There's no chatbot. Just real people reading real messages and responding thoughtfully.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Nothing formal. If you want to share your company stage, approximate capital to discuss, and what prompted you to reach out, that gives us a head start. But a simple "we just raised and don't know what to do with the money" works too. We've started some of our best client relationships from a two-sentence email. What are your fees?
Our standard brokerage fee ranges from 0.45% to 0.85% annually based on account size and complexity. Accounts under $500K carry a minimum annual fee of $3,500. No front-end loads. No back-end loads. No trailer fees. No embedded mutual fund commissions. Full fee schedules are disclosed before you sign anything and visible in every quarterly statement. For comparison, most bank-managed corporate portfolios we audit carry blended MERs of 1.5%–2.0%. Our average total cost is 0.65% — that gap compounds aggressively over time.
Are there contracts or lock-in periods?
Zero. No long-term contracts. No lock-in fees. No early termination penalties. You can leave anytime with written notice, and we'll facilitate an orderly transfer to your designated institution. We earn every quarter or we don't deserve the next one. Our 98% client retention rate over the past four years tells us we're earning it — but the door is always open both ways.

We also work closely with legal counsel during pre-fundraise structuring to ensure treasury documentation meets due diligence standards. We don't replace your existing advisors — we complement them with the brokerage and portfolio expertise they typically don't provide.
